Post Apocalyptic Nomad is a collection of functional fabric sculptures celebrating the diverse and eclectic nature of our current climate. We've been toying with the concept of luxury-grunge contrasting luxe fabrics with grunge elements such as Doc Martens. The hauntingly beautiful voice of Alice Phoebe Lou helps to create the magical twilight atmosphere. Our signature feminine silhouettes are sculpted in heavy knits, soft prints and lavish silks.
The manner in which the silk organza dances around the model creates the illusion of continues movement, while the boiled wool and hand knitted panels insulates our muse on her nomadic adventure. Leather and distressed metal flickers, blur the lines between clothing and Wild Charm's accessories; embellishment becomes part of the whole not an afterthought. Frayed seams and raw hemlines suggest an almost cavalier attitude towards preciously sculpted pieces, hinting that our muse's wardrobe is filled with magical treasures. |
